Bedfordshire is a lovely place to live - with great parks, walks beside the Great River Ouse, and cycle paths as well as good shopping, cinemas, theatres and places to eat.
Kempston & Bedford
Kempston is a small town that has all the usual facilities: swimming pool and sports centre, gyms, shopping, parks and a wide range of supermarkets. It is very close to Bedford - so you get easy access to the theatre, comedy club, eateries, and night clubs without the hassle of having to pay for a parking permit.
Attractions
From Box End Park that offers all year round open water swimming and wake boarding to small Vegan Cafés in the High Street, Kempston has lots going on for a small town. Bedford itself hosts the second largest free festival in England every other year – Bedford River Festival.
Transport Links
All the houses are either on a bus route, or within a few minutes’ walk of one. Great road links (A421/A6/M1) take you to Luton, Milton Keynes, Cambridge and beyond, while Bedford
Station takes you into St Pancras in under 40 minutes – or North to Sheffield, Leeds, Leicester etc.
