About Us
MyPad is about providing you with an awesome home in Kempston, Bedford. We are a small, dependable team offering personal service and quality living.
Who are MyPad?
MyPad are two professional couples: Heena & Munir and Katy & Richard, and Joëlle, our amazing Lettings and Property Manager. Together we aim to make the whole process of finding a home in shared accommodation simple. Once you are a Padder, we will continue to work hard to ensure your Pad runs as smoothly as possible so you can get on with the business of living your life.
We do MyPad and you do you.
We actively work on encouraging community within each of our Pads. If there is a choice of rooms available when you are looking we will provide you with insights as to which might be the best fit for you. We want everyone to be in the place that is best for them.
We provide awesome accommodation that we are proud of and that we believe you will be
happy to call home.
Our Values
We are serious about our ethics and moral code of conduct. We always work toward best practice and if we can exceed it, we will do so. We keep abreast of current and upcoming legislation and will inform you of anything that you need to know - from Covid updates to the annual gas certificate.
Our Approach
We believe everyone deserves somewhere safe and warm to live. We aim to be ‘on-it’ from when you
first express an interest to the day you move on. We want to improve the standard of what is available to you in the current market.
We are adaptive, having moved to online documentation to reduce our environmental footprint, and can provide Covid-safe virtual viewings if you prefer.

We have provided each house with hand sanitisers, disinfectant and other cleaning products to
help them keep safe.
What matters to us
When we say we love our community, we really mean it.

Beyond just our tenants, our home of Bedfordshire is our community, and we do what we can to support it too.

Each month, a percentage of all rent is used to directly support local charities, including the Bedford Foodbank and CentrePoint.

Alongside these monthly donations, we also plant a tree for every new tenant through the lovely folk over atOur Team
Working together we are more awesome, catering for a wider range of professionals. MyPad can offer you choice in location, bedroom size, type of kitchen and communal provision.
We do MyPad so You do You.
We have our amazing Lettings & Property Manager Joëlle, who co-ordinates much of what happens on a weekly basis including cleaning the communal areas. We have Ben who does the gardening, Pascal who cleans the windows, Simon our ‘Mr Fix-it’, Marc the plumber and a team of personally known reliable professionals to call on.
I thoroughly enjoy getting to know all my Padders and engaging in some very interesting conversations with them. Being a parent whose child lives in shared accommodation, my priority is to ensure all the houses are kept to a great standard so that they are a lovely place to live.
I always enjoy being able to get fully involved in whatever is going on. Getting the houses up to a standard that means they are homes and not just somewhere to live has been really important to me.
I now juggle commitments to the local community with running a company, working as a counsellor and supervisor, and helping with care needs within my family. I remain very hands on with MyPad – particularly the decorating!
Trivia geek, pub supporter and muddy dog owner. I’ll be your first point of contact for everything related to your tenancy from your first enquiry to the day you move on.
I’m proud of the quality of our Pads and I work hard to keep them looking great and well-maintained. I have a team of specialists I can call on should anything need attention and I‘ll always be in attendance while any work is carried out.
The ‘House Phone’ is always with me so that I can be responsive to any requests or enquiries, and while I would encourage these to come within normal working hours I will always respond to any emergency.
